All dogs are first evaluated and trained to be social, off-leash with perfect vocal recall. So we practice this in fields nearby. Social play is fun and great exercise.

San Diego, CA: If you are home, but busy and want your dog to enjoy outdoor adventures, I take your dog with a pack that suits your dog’s needs and then head to: Del Mar dog beach adventures, Ocean beach dog beach adventures, Coronado Dog Beach adventures or Fiesta Island dog beach adventures. I teach all dogs that are willing how to swim and how to navigate waves and retrieve. Canine bodysurfing is a blast!

I also take my canine pack to hiking adventures where there are trails and rocks to climb.

Of course, I usually select trails near rivers, swimming holes, waterfalls. This ensures your dog can get a hard work out and also cool off.

I can arrange to either pick and drop off your dog or you can drop the dog off with us! Your dog will first be evaluated for basic voice commands and socialization. If your dog has not mastered these commands, they will be taught first. Dogs learn fast in a pack.

Sometimes, a dog owner can elect to let their dog accompany our pack on a road trip!

We may go to a farm or ranch to practice herding or to a horse ranch. Dogs get to be around a variety of pigs, goats, cows, horses, and more.

Greenwich and Stamford, CT: To start, I may take your dog with our pack to beautiful local city park and practice dealing with a variety of tasks I ask for.

Next we are off to city and state trails and hiking adventures under beautiful lush green tree canopies where there is plenty of room to run off leash. The trails I use jhave a myriad of trails as well as rocks to climb.

And we are always staying close to rivers so the dogs can cool off. Your dog can swim or watch our dogs swim and learn to swim with our pack!

NY/CT city: Some dogs have not had much experience in cities. It is nice to be able to take your dog(s) with you as you shop, do errands, stand in line at the bank, have coffee, or an outdoor meal. But many dogs have been isolated due to Covid and the cold of winter/spring. So dogs need to become accustomed to city adventures. Canine Contact is all about preparing your dog for connection with you while smelling, hearing and seeing crowds, walking by other unpredictable dogs and people, loud car engines and horns, etc. So a “city adventure” with the pack helps your dog immensely become comfortable around all this stimulation and various unforeseen circumstances. Dogs are learning and raising their IQ and gaining confidence. I take each dog at a pace they can handle. And my surrogate dogs help show them how it’s done. For example, learning to heal as a pack while walking on the sidewalk, waiting in line at ATM or going to vet with less anxiety.
