Dr Apramian agreed to work with my 1yr old rescued blue nose pit bull Bruno… at that time he was a “red line” canine… & I had the (slim) hope he could become my service dog & accompany me when traveling on a buss a subway -trains & aero planes… (my disability hinders my ability to travel). Dr Apramian took an avid heartfelt interest in Bruno & in no time at all he ceased to bite when happy – and with obvious pleasure he was able to fetch, , sit, stay, drop it , lay down.

When I first rescued him, truth b told, he rescued me. And Dr Apramian rehabilitated him. Initially when the apartment doorbell buzzed he would buzz Bruni would bark uncontrollable growl & when visitors entered my apartment he bared his teeth aggressively. At mealtimes, he jumped on me, & bit , at that time I was a 63 yr old & a 55lb Pit bull jumping on me -not fun…

Dr Apramian’s methods of positive reinforcement, as well as Bruno interacting with her amazing pack did the trick. Bruno no longer barks at the bell, jumps on visitors & only starts his meal until I invite him to eat…He will eat a piece of steak from my fingertips like the true gentleman I knew he was…13 years later – dear Bruno is older and mostly blind & mostly deaf –

Dog Training

Lisa was an absolute godsend for our two dogs. We originally found her to help with behaviour modification (terrified of other dogs, terrible on leash etc) in our 2 year old Goldendoodle but ended up also sending our 5 year old, very stubborn, cockapoo. She communicated fully and openly from the very beginning giving updates and videos all the time so we knew what was going on. Lisa is incredibly dedicated to what she does and has an enormous knowledge of how dogs work or how dogs ‘dog’ as she says. We have seen far more progress than we could have imagined, in both dogs and couldn’t be more grateful to have found her. I am also very pleased she is going to train me as well as all that hard work can’t be wasted! We can’t wait for the new life with our doggies!

Dog Training

From our first contact with Lisa she went above & beyond in the training of our dog Lily. Lily a ten year old boxer that we inherited was not socialized with other dogs & had little to no training. She stayed with Lisa for 10 days. I received daily updates, photos & video. Then after a week I was able to also go & observe Lily’s training & participate. She has since also come to our home to continue the process. I highly recommend Lisa. This is a woman who knows exactly what she is doing & Lily loved her & her training pack. Lisa has recently moved to the area & has bought with her years of experience, dedication & immense skill. Kate, I love working with challenging circumstances and creating wins. Hearing loss, physical injuries and aggression. Lily responded so positively to boundaries and hand signals, gentle extroversion and pack boundaries and pack play and exuberance to combat isolation and the fun and safety of joining our pack. Dog Training

Ms. Apramian was a fantastic trainer for my 5 year old, 80 lb Bernedoodle, Nate. When I dropped him off with the trainer, he would not walk closely on a leash, heal, or listen to commands. He also did not socialize well with other dogs. A week later, Nate was like a new dog! It was clear after my first conversation with Ms. Apramian that she is first a DOG LOVER, and is extremely knowledgeable about her craft. I highly recommend her with no reservations.

I went on a search for the perfect trainer for my new rescue dog Roxy and my older dog Lola. Lola had some aggression issues towards Roxy when it came certain areas in our home. 

Lisa is beyond great! She will go above and beyond for your pets. She stayed almost 2 hours for the first session! Ensuring she would leave us with something we could keep working on with the dogs that would be effective! Her expertise gave us some sort of control on what was going on with their behavior immediately! She made sure to teach not only me but my boyfriend and my roommate so we were all on the same page. She gave us immediate tools that worked and had our alpha Chihuahua sit stay and respect us instead of feel out of control dominating us. She had her sit stay on the ground instead of dominating the bed and attacking her new foster. And a lot of other tips and help.. With a little consistency I see positive behavior in the future. 

She has also been very helpful with follow up if I address her with a concern after you have your first session. Lisa will help in every way she can! Looking forward to scheduling our next training session to work on some basic commands with Roxy! I highly recommend Lisa.

Dr. Lisa is unbelievably awesome, she took my one year old pitbull in with no experience at all & made a real believer out of me I didn’t think that it would be effective but she definitely proved me wrong & the best part was the daily updates ! If I could’ve rated more I definitely would have I highly recommend Lisa
